Grand Canyon Adventure

Since we were in the area we decided to swing by the Grand Canyon since Ryker (my brother) and Cameron (of course) had never been there. Sara was quite... reserved, about the idea because of her experience at Grand Canyon West a few years back and her lack of enthusiasm about heights.

A few years ago we took a helicopter right out at Grand Canyon West and on the rim there is no railing and it is about a straight mile drop down unlike off the South rim where we decided to go this time. I think she enjoyed this trip much more, at least her nerves did and it gave us all the chance to enjoy the view instead of hearing Sara's yells in the background to get away from the edge.

Cameron slept most the time but he did take a couple of peeks at the view, he is definitely our outdoors baby. No matter how many times I go to the Grand Canyon, it never ceases to amaze me what that view is like. Someday I'll get in shape enough to actually hike it. :)
